People of Leisure is designed and made in Los Angeles with a passion for slow manufacturing, using dead-stock fabrics, organic cotton, and recycled fibers when possible to create fashion pieces that are lasting and sustainable. Since 2015, People of Leisure has made it their mission to partner with fair trade producers, garment workers, artisans and manufacturers to produce ethical fashion collections and protect everyone in the supply chain. The brand prides itself as a revolt against fast fashion and anything but conscious decisions within the production process, helping to lead a new frontier of slow, fair and good fashion.

All products are colored using garment dye technique, where the color is added to the style after it's cut and sewn to gain an extra deep and lively feeling to the fabric. All products are pre-washed to prevent shrinkage and bleed of dyes.
