Clay Masks - Nash and Jones

It is essential to support and nurture our skin in order to restore healthy and enhanced function and appearance. A deep cleansing of the pores is a refreshing and necessary part of healthy skin rejuvenation.

Clays are negatively charged and when activated with liquid, are able to attract and absorb skin’s positively charged impurities like a magnet.

TO USE: Pour out a small amount of powder clay and use the included wooden spoon to mix clay with a small amount of warm water in a non-metal bowl. [we use non-metal materials so the clay will not fill up with the metals as the impurity] Fully mix to a thick soupy texture, without lumps, and apply to face with fingers, back of spoon, or hake brush [avoiding eyes and mouth]. Let dry up to 5 minutes.

Avoid letting it dry completely, as it will significantly dry out skin. Rinse with warm water and hydrate.

TIPS: To gently cleanse and hydrate the skin before using the clay masks, wash your face with a Nash and Jones Cleansing Soap Bar.

FOSSIL CLAY: Fossilized remains of diatoms (diatomaceous earth), rock forming mineral white kaolin clay.

KELP CLAY: French green clay (decomposed plant matter).

Nash and Jones began out of necessity. Our reactions to products filled with chemicals, dyes, perfumes and preservatives were awful so we adopted a more natural lifestyle. This included changes to what we consumed on the inside plus the outside. It was a revelation to discover that we didn’t have to settle for the big box selection but rather we could have complete control of what we consume. What we learned about the ingredients we had been using was shocking. We are appalled by what we were putting on/into our bodies through our skin. After all, what we put onto our skin also gets absorbed into the body. Those dyes, chemicals, petroleum and perfumes were damaging our skin and our health plus cancelled out the benefits of the good ingredients.
